Why jade, and why this kind
This bangle is carved from nephrite (软玉), the jade Chinese culture has prized for over 5,000 years — the same material used for ritual objects in the Neolithic period. Nephrite is tougher than the more widely marketed jadeite: it resists chipping, takes a soft waxy polish, and warms to your skin quickly.
What it means to wear one
In China a jade bangle is often given by a mother to a daughter, or bought to mark a birthday or a new beginning. It is worn as a quiet wish for safety, health and steady fortune — and many people simply never take it off.

⚠️ Please check your size before ordering
A bangle must pass over your hand, not just fit your wrist. To measure: bring your thumb to your little finger and measure the widest part of your hand with a soft tape. Width 17–19 cm → 58 mm usually fits. If you’re unsure, message us your measurement and we’ll tell you honestly whether this one will fit.
Care
Jade likes to be worn — skin oils keep the polish alive. Remove before heavy work or swimming pools (chlorine dulls the surface). Clean with lukewarm water and a soft cloth only; no ultrasonic cleaners, no chemicals.
Note on natural stone
Colour, veining and translucency vary from bangle to bangle. The photos show a representative piece, not the exact one you will receive.
